Loan Amount
- The maximum amount sanctioned under this loan is Rs. 10 lakh
Interest
- The interest rate for this loan is defined as the sum of UCO Float Rate and 1.55%. Currently, UCO Float Rate is 6.90% bringing the effective rate at 8.45%
Repayment
- The credit card is valid for 3 years subject to a satisfactory yearly review conducted by the bank
Security Needed
- The bank may ask for hypothecation of stocks and existing securities
Borrower Contribution to Total Cost (Margin Money)
- The bank charges minimum 10% of the total amount as margin
Note: Margin money refers to the amount the borrower contributes to the overall amount required. The bank will cover the rest. So, if the total amount needed is Rs. 20 lakh, you will have to contribute 20% which comes to Rs. 4 lakh. The bank will provide the balance of Rs. 16 lakh.
