  • The interest rate applicable to this loan is defined as the sum of one-year Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate (MCLR) and Strategic Spread. Currently, one-year MCLR of SBI is 7.00% and the Strategic Spread may range from 0.55% to 3.00%. This means that the effective interest rate may range anywhere from 7.55% to 10.00%

Repayment

  • This scheme has a credit period of 90 days. It can be renewed on an annual basis

Security

  • The bank asks for hypothecation of stocks, receivables, assets financed by the bank as primary security for this loan
  • The bank may also ask for mortgage of residential or commercial property as security for this loan

Borrower’s Contribution to Total Cost (Margin Money)

  • The bank does not charge margin on this loan

Processing & Other Charges

  • The bank levies up to Rs. 30,000 as processing and other charges for this loan
