Loan Amount

  • This is a need-based loan. There is no maximum loan amount limit set by UCO Bank for this loan

Interest

  • The interest rate for this UCO Bank loan is defined as the sum of Base Rate and Strategic Premium where Strategic Premium depends on the internal rating of the borrower
  • The Strategic Premium is 2.00% (floating) for businesses with an internal rating of A and above and 3.00% (floating) for others

Repayment & Moratorium

  • This loan must be repaid within 10 years including the moratorium period
  • The moratorium period for this loan is up to 6 months in the case of purchase of a house and 24 months in the case of construction

Security Needed

  • Creation of equitable mortgage on property in the name of the business/company
  • The bank also asks for a personal guarantee of directors of the company

Borrower’s Contribution to Total Cost (Margin Money)

  • The bank charges a minimum 25% of the total project cost as margin for this loan

Processing Charges

  • The bank charges 0.50% of the loan sanctioned up to Rs. 15,000, whichever is lower. The minimum processing charge the borrower has to pay for this loan is Rs. 1,500
